About us
COMES is a family company with traditions originating in 1984. Over 40 years, we have grown from an artisanal metalwork workshop to a well-known and reputable manufacturer of playgrounds, recreational equipment, outdoor gyms, street workout, urban furniture and dog parks. All this time, we have been and remain committed to craftsmanship, reliability and professionalism. Our products have been recognised for their well-thought-out design, appealing visual appearance, and excellent durability – which has proven its worth at schools as well as on some of Poland’s largest housing areas. We have built and equipped thousands of playgrounds, outdoor gyms and other recreational areas. Beyond production, we provide a wide range of services: visualisation, planning, consultancy, transport, installation, service and annual inspections (some of which are dependent of location). This is why we are successfully implementing large and demanding investments.

Our priority is to provide products that are safe and functional not only at the time of installation, but also after many years of intensive use and tough weather conditions. That is why we use the finest materials and tried-and-tested construction solutions which ensure durability. We design and manufacture our playgrounds, outdoor gyms and street workout equipment in such a way that there is no risk of jamming, dangerous falls or hidden construction defects which indicate that the product does not comply with the safety standard. This allows us to proudly hold accredited European certificates that prove the safety of our equipment. The quality of our products is proven not only by the fact that we use the highest-quality materials, but also because we can control every stage of the process of manufacturing the equipment in our own factory. This makes our products truly safe and long-lasting, which is best demonstrated by thousands of completed projects and satisfied customers.

Best materials
Powder-coated steel
We use steel pipes with a thicker wall than most manufacturers, so our products are extremely robust. We sandblast, iron phosphate, galvanise and powder coat the steel. The steel we coat meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO 12944 for class C4H 720h. This is corrosion protection for 15-25 years.

HDPE sheets
HDPE is an extremely strong, safe and visually pleasing material. HDPE boards, unlike plywood, are 100% resistant to harsh weather conditions and water. It is also non-flammable and non-breakable. We use it, amoung other things, to manufacture canopies, side panels, seats, decorative elements, educational boards.

HPL boards
Are extremely durable, resistant to UV, resistant to temperature fluctuations and fully resistant to moisture. We use it as flooring in our play sets and tabletops & seating in some tables or benches. HPL is a premium material that guarantees exceptional quality and durability for years to come.

Ropes
We use steel-core ropes with a polypropylene coat. The steel core provides an adequate strength to the rope and the coat makes the rope larger in diameter and more comfortable to grip. In addition, it protects the core from rubbing and cracking.

Certified equipment
COMES products are safe due to the high level of production standards and the quality of the materials used. No less important is compliance with current safety standards. We certify all our equipment in a verified, reputable unit – Instytut Nadzoru Technicznego from Wrocław, which is accredited by the Polish Centre for Accreditation. Certificates for compliance with EN 1176 (playgrounds) and EN 16630 (outdoor gyms), are issued with PCA accreditation. This ensures that our equipment meets all the regulations of the safety norm, not only on paper, but also in real life.
